SHIVAH GROUP: This group arranges to have regular minyanim, a Sefer Torah and prayer books at the Shiva house, as well as Mishna learning between Mincha and Maariv. The chesed committee also provides either a traditional “Seudat Hvra’ah” to the immediate family, upon their return from the cemetery, or a “snack package” during the shiva period to our members sitting shiva in their homes. |

CLOTHING DRIVES: The chesed committee partners with Yad-Leah, to collect clothing from our members for distribution in Israel. |

BIKUR CHOLIM: The chesed committee communicates to the membership about those who are sick or hospitalized, including many out of the community individuals and their visiting families. Visits are made to hospitals, rehabilitation centers and homes. |

BABY PRODUCTS GEMACH: We recommend a Baby Gemach that is run by Leah Zimmerman and Siggy Berger from Passaic. They collect all donations: baby gear, furniture, formula, clothing, or money to help defer costs. They give to any Jewish family that asks. They offer a tax receipt for any donation. If anyone has anything to donate, or if someone is in need, contact them by E-mail:
