Established in 1991, The Iris Berman Early Childhood Center (IBECC) is a modern Orthodox nursery school for two, three, and four-year old children. We provide integrated general and Judaic education and activities in a relaxed and nurturing small class environment. |

Our professional staff educates, challenges and delights the children. Our multi-disciplinary departmental approach exposes the children three times a week to a variety of teachers who each have a unique curriculum focus. There is a strong emphasis on Hebrew language. We infuse Jewish and humanitarian values with creative, manipulative, experiential and imaginative activities. Highlights of the year include our school-wide Thanksgiving feast, Purim and Israeli Independence Day celebrations, and Pesach seder. Our play-based, diverse program underscores intellectual, emotional and social development through: |
| | • | Art appreciation | | | • | Communication skills | | | • | Cooking | | | • | Dramatic play | | | • | Fine and gross motor skills | | | • | Language, pre-reading and math readiness skills | | | • | Music and movement | | | • | Self-help skills | |
| Our facilities include bright classrooms, an outdoor playground, a large shared play space and an indoor gym. We offer a flexible schedule for parents who wish to send their children for fewer than five days a week, and a drop-off program for one-year olds to come a few hours a week. We have a diverse offering of after-school clubs, including karate, various movements and sports, and a summer camp program so the fun and learning can continue. | | Our goal is to prepare children for Yeshiva Day School, to provide them with a foundation of learning that will help them become life-long learners and leaders with fundamental Jewish values. | | | Nursery School Forms Early Childhood Center Registration Packet Nursery Intercession Registration Form Early Childhood Center Summer Program Registration Packet |
