The Youth Department of the Synagogue of the Suburban Torah Center is both vibrant and dynamic. Throughout the year, we offer a variety of events for our children including weekly Shabbat youth groups for Nursery through grade 5, holiday-themed programs, Shabbat onegs/ learning programs, arts and crafts events and sports/game nights. In additional, we run community-wide programs such as our annual Sukkah Hop, Chanukah Chagiga and Purim carnival for all families. Our weekly teen minyanim and annual trips to parks such as Hershey and Great Adventure, as well as our NCSY and Yachad Shabbatonim are highlights of our teen programming. There always are new and exciting events being planned, and each age group has at least one event monthly.

We offer weekly Shabbat morning activities, for children aged 3 through 12. These groups are led by experienced and creative leaders who emphasize both educational and recreational activities. Snacks and raffle tickets are awarded weekly. Boys and girls meet separately in group settings where time is spent davening, playing, learning the weekly parasha and telling stories.

Finally, there is a monthly youth Shalosh Seudot program between mincha and maariv on Shabbat for all children aged 10 and up.
