We’ve been creating many kinds of Menorahs in our class together!

We painted a big piece of white paper with shimmery gold and silver paint. Then we cut it into the shape of a Menorah and hung it on our window. Every day on Chanukah we’re going to add a candle! Our school will be so bright and cheerful.

A few children built a Menorah out of blocks.

We’ve also been creating lego Menorahs to take home. Each child chose the colors they wanted and dipped each piece into glue to form the base. They then chose small square pieces and glued them together to make each candle – with three pieces for the shamash. Everyone loved this!

And a few happy faces of today:

Stretching and exercising!
