The Iris and Errol Berman Early Childhood Center (IEBECC) is a warm, nurturing environment with a developmentally appropriate program where children learn best through play, inquiry and authentic experiences. It is infused with Jewish values and learning the importance of Jewish ritual and Tikkun Olam. Our program focuses on children’s social, physical, cognitive and language growth throughout their preschool years.
Our curriculum is inspired by the Reggio-Emilia philosophy. We value and respect children as competent and capable learners. We encourage observation and inquiry by empowering students to become their own researchers. Our teachers create intentional learning spaces to provoke wonder and a thirst for knowledge. We encourage collaboration and build a supportive environment to promote life-long critical thinking skills.
The intimate nature of the school ensures personalized attention for each child. School hours vary by age, and we offer early drop off and extended day care options.
We are proud to offer on-site occupational therapy and speech therapy programs from two well-respected therapy centers.
